Our basic model is called The Easy Reach. This simple unit allows its user to quickly and easily reach items stored in an upper cabinet while gaining complete accessibility to counterpace that suits their needs.
The Easy Reach offers nearly 9 cubic feet of storage space. The countertop, which can be built to your required height offers over 8 square feet of space.
When the unit is deployed you won't lose vital counter space. This means the unit leaves room for your appliances on the countertop even when the cabinet has been lowered to your reach.
The Easy Reach 2001 measures 76 inches tall, 48 inches wide and 33.5 inches deep. The standard countertop height is 32 inches. However, our goal is your complete accessibility. That means we can build the height of your countertop to meet your needs.
This stand alone, all-in-one unit can be used anywhere in your home or office. As a stand alone unit, the Easy Reach can be moved much like a sofa or china hutch. Each Easy Reach comes with specialty dolly so the cabinet can easily be moved by two able bodied people.
Electrical outlets are standard to all of our models and we also offer units with plumbing options to accommodate for a preinstalled sink.
All of our units have a 5 point safety system and feature a safety switch plate under the lowering cabinet, which will automatically raise the cabinet up by 5 inches should it encounter even the slightest interference.
Each Easy Reach comes with three shelves that can be positioned anywhere within the cabinet. Our standard Easy Reach 2001 comes with a closed pore finish on Maple. However, we build to suit. So the possibilities for wood types and colors are endless!
